Would you stay—if you could leave?, 2009
Video (9 min.), double screen projection
To Whom It May Concern combines images photographed in the West Bank, Palestine, coupled with a narrative text in a form reminiscent of a traveller’s diary, which seems to alternate between different people and different lives. The photographed places stand as evidence of the changes in the landscape of the West Bank due to Israel’s occupation strategies. The metaphorical and the documentary, the factual and the fictitious are used interchangeably in this work, weaving a complex narration that is carried out in silence through the photographs and written text.
