Lost and found, 2011
2 photographs, 70 x 100 cm each
The two scenes in Lost and Found were photographed in the West Bank in 2010. The images show fragments of a Palestinian reality that seems far from typical media representations.
The work is displayed in a case that references the type of vitrines traditionally used to display posters for tourist attractions around the Dead Sea, where—following the Oslo Accord in 1993 and the construction of the so-called security wall—there is no longer any tourism to speak of.
This work was supported by the Danish Arts Council.
